Gysingesåpa is an eco-friendly, Swan-labelled linseed oil soap for gentle cleaning. It dissolves dirt even in cold water and is biodegradable. Linseed oil soap is a versatile product and can be used for all cleaning in the home, such as cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, outdoor furniture, tools, stain removal on clothes and much more. It cleans, re-greases and protects wood and stone surfaces.

The linseed oil comes from Ottosons Färgmakeri. Swedish linseed oil is unique due to its high levels of linolenic acid and linoleic acid. The levels are around 80 percent, compared to flax grown in Southern Europe which has a content of about 30 percent. Long, bright summer nights in Northern Europe are what promote a high fatty acid composition. This gives the advantage that the linseed oil can more easily form a strong film, which makes the painted surface stronger.
