The Benedicks Lilja wallpaper was found in one of the rooms in the workers’ housing at Gysinge. The design, with its elegantly curved stems and foliage, is characteristic of the organic forms of the Art Nouveau style, inspired by the new artistic movements developing in Paris, Vienna and Berlin.
