Tempra fiddler

Tempera Mottler made of natural bristles from Gnestapenseln for egg tempera painting.

Available in two sizes: 50 mm and 120 mm

All tempera mottlers are designed by Milis Ivarsson, Av jord AB in collaboration with GnestaPenseln AB. They all have longer bristles than standard mottlers on the market. The longer, light hog bristles make painting smoother and therefore do not as easily create harsh brushstrokes.

The mottlers marked with a G are also manufactured by GnestaPenseln and are of exceptionally high quality. They are designed to converge more at the tip and not spread out as easily with paint. This is partly because the tip of the bristles on these brushes is rounded, and partly because all of them, except for the 25 mm width, have an ingenious design with a thicker ferrule and a hollow space in the middle of the bristle base. The bristles also retain their natural tips to pick up paint better.
